The April 7th, 2020 Spring Election for the Town of Belvidere (located at the Cochrane VFW) will be open the same as in the past for voting and same-day registration for new voters.

Polls will be open from 7 am – 8 pm on Tuesday, April 7th to Vote. A Photo ID is required as always.

Here are some facts about this Election:

1. Please bring your own pen for signing the poll book and the pen cover (or closed point) will be used to vote on the touch screen voting machine. Pens (sanitized) are also available. You can take the pen home with you after voting for safety reasons.
2. The VFW polling location will be cleaned and sanitized prior to opening for everyone’s safety.
3. The poll workers will be administering hand sanitizer to all voters as you enter the building.
4. You will present your Photo ID at the registration Table. We will not handle it.
5. The floor will be marked for standing at safe distancing requirements for all voters and workers.
6. Many Absentee ballots have already been requested so there will be minimal traffic for voting at Election Day. If you haven’t mailed your absentee ballot back do so immediately!!!!
7. Thank you for exercising your voting rights and abiding by the safe-distance guidelines for everyone’s safety during the CoVid-19 pandemic.
