TOWN of BELVIDERE

NOTICE OF NEWLY ENACTED ORDINANCE 2020-1:

On Tuesday, July 14, 2020, after a 7 PM Hearing, the Town of Belvidere Board adopted Ordinance 2020-1: Town Clerk and Town Treasurer Appointment.

It is in the public interest for the Town of Belvidere, Buffalo County to change the status of the town clerk and town treasurer to “appointed” instead of elected effective with the term starting in April 2021.

A referendum vote will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 for town elector’s approval as required by Wis. Stats. § 60.30(1e) (b).

This Class One Notice was published July 23, 2020 in the C-FC RECORDER pursuant to Wis. Stats. § 60.80(2) and (3) and ch. 985 Wis. Stats. is EFFECTIVE July 23, 2020.
